New Mom, New Perspectives

March 28, 2018

It may be a little cliche to say that “everything changes when you have a baby” but it’s the absolute truth, isn’t it? You have a complete perspective change! The way we live changes and see things in a completely different way.  I think that was the biggest surprise for me. Things that once had no bearing on my opinions whatsoever were suddenly of utmost importance. Like whether it was better to buy baby food or make my own. Whether I was a bad parent or not because I  bought regular diapers and contributed to the landfills! (I still cringe a little that I went with regular diapers!)

These are all important decisions in one way or another. And, by the way, none of the answers are wrong. (What is it the kids are saying these days? You do you!) But when it comes to the long-term health of your child, you go to great lengths to ensure their safety and security.

That is exactly why Monica at Creative Me began evaluating her cleaning products. She knew that she didn’t want her new baby daughter around dangerous chemical cleaners and toxic fumes. So she threw out what she had and switched to e-cloth. Continue below to read about her experience with a few of our Baby Care by e-cloth products.

One thing you’ll notice this year on my blog is healthy lifestyle options. Ever since my little one came into the world I have really taken note of what I’m using around her. One thing I don’t want to use in my house is toxic chemicals. I was intrigued when I found the company E-Cloth. Their products clean without the use of harsh, toxic chemicals. All you need is their cleaning cloth and water! I really wanted to see how this innovated product really worked. Keep reading to learn more.

About E-Cloth

How Does It Work?

This was my first question. How can something clean so well with just water? It’s all in the fiber!

What I Tested

I tested two different cloths in their baby care collection. The first cloth is for my little one’s toys and nursery. The other cloth is for tables and high chairs. These cloths kill 99% of bacteria on hard services. They are easy to use, just get it wet with water and the cloth does the rest. When the cloth gets dirty it goes in the washer, dryer and then is ready for use again.

I love how worry free these products are. I’m always concerned what products I use around my daughter. Typical household cleaners are toxic and are unhealthy to touch and breathe in the air. By using only water and a cloth I don’t have to worry! There is one aspect I have to get use to. I like when you clean items and they have that “just cleaned” smell.

Each cloth is guaranteed for 300 washes. That’s about 6 years of cleaning. Not only does the cloth make cleaning easier and non toxic…it will save my household money. That’s a win in my mom book.
