Use dry to dust
First things first – get to know your new favorite dusting tool.
The wand measures 1 inch thick, so it’s small enough to fit around most appliances. The microfiber sleeve is fully removable, washable, and reusable – so say goodbye to old disposable dusters.
You’ll receive the wand with the sleeve already assembled and ready to bust some dust.
Use the wand dry on dry surfaces to remove dust, cobwebs, pet hair, and more loose dander. Pay special attention to all areas around your appliances, including behind radiators, on the tops of refrigerators, and underneath ovens. You can also use the wand around ceiling fans, blinds, and other hard-to-reach fixtures.
Use wet to clean
There’s a reason we call it the Cleaning & Dusting Wand.
When used wet, the microfiber sleeve can give surfaces a deeper clean, removing dirt and grime better than other dusting-specific tools.
To start, keep in mind that we recommend dusting prior to cleaning. When wet, the microfiber sleeve won’t be able to trap and hold dust particles as effectively, so always dust the surface(s) first.
Remove the sleeve from the wand’s base, then run it under warm or hot running water to thoroughly wet the microfiber. Wring it out and reattach to the wand, and you’ll be ready to roll.
Use it on all the areas you’ve dusted, and keep in mind that you may need to rinse the wand a couple or more times, depending on how much you have to clean.
Quick tip: If you have a large home with many areas to clean and dust, you may want to pick up an extra Replacement Sleeve for the Cleaning & Dusting Wand.
Refresh & replace
When the wand’s sleeve becomes filled with dust or dirt, it’s time to give it a refresh.
If you only used the wand dry to dust, then you may rinse it out in the sink, shake off the dust outside your home, or clean the sleeve using a vacuum hose or handheld vacuum.
Otherwise, if you used the wand wet to clean, you’ll want to give the sleeve another rinse under the faucet, then hang it to dry.
If there’s still dirt or dust left on your wand’s sleeve after rinsing, it may be time to throw it in the wash. Like all E-Cloth products, use a small amount of detergent and no bleach, fabric softeners, or dryer sheets to keep your wand working wonders.
And that’s all there is to it! Our Cleaning & Dusting Wand is easy to use, but tough on dust.
Quick tip
Start at the top of your home and work your way down. Dust works with gravity, so remember to tackle high areas first – like your ceiling fans, the tops of shelves or cabinets, and other tall areas, then work your way down.
