The first time I was handed an e-cloth, I thought to myself, “There is no way that this really works.” It’s completely natural to be skeptical. It’s one of the top reasons people hesitate to even consider a product like e-cloth — it sounds too good to be true. Most of us were taught (or we heard it on 1000’s of TV commercials) that the only way your home was going to get clean is with a spray. Just think about the products your mother and grandmother had in their homes. We’ve learned A LOT since those days. Science has revealed a few things about cleaning products including:
- Traditional spray cleaners have detrimental effects on long-term health (click here for some statistics on that)
- High quality microfiber cleans better than chemicals using just water
Cleaning with water sounds…impossible, counter-intuitive, and in truth – it is. Water is only part of the process and not the cleaning agent. When water is paired with millions of tiny amazing fibers, dirt, grime, grease and bacteria meet their match. The fibers, which are each up to 1/200th the width of a human hair for ultimate cleaning power, act like tiny hands to grab onto these particles. (Click here to view our What is an e-cloth video which explains how they work.)
Not just any microfiber will do the trick. The thing to keep in mind is millions of fibers — e-cloth has 3.1 million fibers per square inch. That’s the most fibers of any cloth on the market!
The next logical thought is: How do we know that the fibers are actually working? You want proof. We get it — and we’ve got the proof you’ve been wanting. e-cloth commissioned a reputable third-party microbiological testing agency to conduct a research study that would ultimately prove the effectiveness of e-cloth in cleaning surfaces. Here are the results. (Incidentally, e-cloth is the only brand that is proven to work!)
The ultimate proof is in the results.
Now for the real proof. The best way to prove that e-cloth works is to experience it for yourself. Your home will be noticeably cleaner, surfaces will be free of residues and the air free of toxins.
One more quick thing: if it’s that ‘clean home smell’ that you need, simply add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to your spray bottle before you start!
